Learning to Animate our Stories

With Mrs. Baralt's help and guidance students attempted to turn their story books into  animated videos using "Frames" software.

They first selected a background and drew their two main characters.  That was the easy part.  They then had to draw and program the characters mouths moving as if they were talking.

Next they recorded their stories in two speech lines.  Finally they had to match each dialogue length to the mouth movements of each character.  Sounds complicated?  It was.  But what a valuable introduction into computerized animation.
