Classifying Everything

Our science unit on classification continued today as students displayed previously classified collections of around ten things brought from home.  Everyone filled in a dichotomous key for his/her collection and we took turns touring the displays and trying to determine the classification system for each.

The collections included teddy bears and other assorted toy animals.  Sharks teeth, golf balls, erasers, head bands, CD covers, lunch bags, Asian items, bird and cat collectibles, lego pieces and more.

What? Time's up?  No way. Can we continue tomorrow?
