It's all part of learning how scientists classify things. Students observe and describe different traits and make groupings. These are assembled in a classification system known as a dichotomous key.
Rachel and Ronan successfully created a dichotomous key classifying this group of toy animals. Students are assembling a collection of ten items at home creating a dichotomous key classification system which is due Friday. The collections will be exhibited Tuesday.
